The Project

Origin is the Electronic Arts (EA) PC game launcher app. Being an avid Battlefield fan, I decided to redesign the app during a Live Stream just for fun and to see what improvements could be made.

The app design at the time looked something like this.

I felt that a left sidebar nav versus a top nav could work better since this is a PC app and there is so much screen real estate to use. I also thought that the friends list could be in a right sidebar so you could always see who's online and their activity instead of needing to click on your "friends" icon each time.
